Welcome to The Love Ray Company.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Love Ray Company website and your purchases and interactions with The Love Ray Company LLC (“Love Ray,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
We know Terms of Service aren't exactly beach reading. We've tried to make ours understandable while still explaining the rules that help protect both you and Love Ray.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or make a purchase.
1. About Love Ray
The Love Ray Company LLC is a small creative company built around the idea that creativity, commerce, and care can live together.
We may offer products and services including apparel, artwork, printed materials, books, cards, gifts, digital products, creative projects, memberships, community programs, and other things as Love Ray grows.
Not everything described here will necessarily be available at all times.
Products, programs, services, and website features may change.
2. Using Our Website
You may use the Love Ray website for lawful personal purposes and to learn about, interact with, or purchase products and services we make available.
Please don't use our website to:
• Break the law
• Commit or attempt fraud
• Interfere with the website's operation or security
• Introduce malicious code or harmful technology
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information
• Impersonate another person
• Harass or harm others
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit Love Ray content without authorization
• Use the website in a way that violates someone else's rights
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Love Ray, our customers, our systems, or others.
3. Products
We try to describe and display Love Ray products as accurately as reasonably possible.
However, actual products may vary somewhat from what you see on a screen.
Colors can appear differently depending on monitors and devices.
Placement, texture, print appearance, material characteristics, and other details may also have reasonable production variations.
Some products may use materials or manufacturing processes that naturally produce slight differences from one item to another.
Those differences aren't necessarily defects.
When important product characteristics—such as dimensions, materials, sizing, care information, or production details—are available, we try to provide useful information on the product page.
Please review that information before ordering.
4. Made-to-Order and Print-on-Demand Products
Many Love Ray physical products are made after somebody orders them rather than being pulled from a large warehouse of finished Love Ray inventory.
For many of these products, we currently use Printful to produce, pack, and/or ship the item.
Because made-to-order products begin production specifically for an order, cancellation, exchange, and return options may be more limited than they are at a traditional retail store.

5. Prices
Prices are displayed on the website in the currency indicated at checkout.
We may change product prices from time to time.
Changing the price of a product generally does not change the price of an order that has already been successfully placed, except where correction is reasonably necessary because of an obvious pricing, technical, or system error.
Taxes, shipping costs, and other applicable charges may be added where required and will generally be shown during checkout.
6. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean we are required to accept or fulfill it under every circumstance.
We may need to cancel or decline an order because of things such as:
• Payment problems
• Suspected fraud
• Product unavailability
• Production problems
• Incorrect pricing or product information
• Shipping restrictions
• Technical errors
• Legal restrictions
• An inability to fulfill the order as reasonably expected
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no substitute or other arrangement is agreed upon, we will provide an appropriate refund for the canceled portion.
7. Payment
Payment is processed through the payment methods made available through our Wix store.
These may include Wix Payments, major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
Depending on availability and eligibility, PayPal may also offer options such as Pay Later or Venmo.
Payment providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, eligibility requirements, and processing rules.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
Production and delivery times can be affected by things outside Love Ray's direct control, including production delays, carrier delays, weather, holidays, high order volume, address problems, customs, and other circumstances.
For print-on-demand products, fulfillment and shipping may be handled by Printful and its fulfillment partners.
We will try to provide useful order and tracking information when available.
If something appears to have gone wrong with your shipment, contact Love Ray and we'll help determine what happened and what options are available.
9. Shipping Addresses
Please make sure your shipping information is accurate before submitting an order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address causes a package to be returned, lost, delayed, or otherwise undeliverable, additional shipping or reshipping charges may apply.
If you notice an address mistake after ordering, contact us as quickly as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfillment has begun.
10. Cancellations and Order Changes
Because many Love Ray products are made specifically after an order is placed, the window for changing or canceling an order may be short.
For products fulfilled through Printful, an order can generally be canceled for a full fulfillment refund while its fulfillment status is still “Waiting for Fulfillment.”
Once fulfillment begins, normal cancellation or refund options through Printful are generally no longer available.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact Love Ray as quickly as possible.
We'll check what can still be done, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after production has started.
11. Returns, Refunds and Problems
If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or with a fulfillment error, contact Love Ray promptly.
We may ask for information such as your name, order information, a description of the problem, and photographs that clearly show the issue.
For products fulfilled through Printful, Printful currently requires qualifying claims for damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrectly fulfilled products to be submitted within 30 days after delivery.
For packages lost in transit, Printful currently requires claims to be submitted within 30 days after the estimated delivery date.
Because many products are made to order, Printful does not currently provide returns or exchanges when a customer simply changes their mind or orders the wrong size or color.
Please review product descriptions and sizing information carefully before ordering.
Love Ray may sometimes consider a reasonable courtesy solution depending on the circumstances. Doing so in one situation does not create a guaranteed right to the same solution in another situation.
Nothing in this section is intended to limit any return, refund, replacement, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

12. Digital Products
Love Ray may offer digital products in the future.
Unless a specific product says otherwise, purchasing a digital product would provide you with a limited license for the personal use described with that product.
Purchasing a digital product would not automatically transfer ownership of Love Ray's underlying intellectual property.
Unless expressly permitted, digital products may not be:
• Resold
• Redistributed
• Reposted as your own
• Shared as a substitute for additional purchases or licenses
• Used to manufacture products for sale
• Used commercially beyond the permission provided with the product
• Modified and sold or distributed as a new product
Specific digital products may include additional license terms when appropriate.
13. Love Ray Intellectual Property
The Love Ray Company name, logos, artwork, illustrations, designs, photographs, writing, product designs, characters, graphics, website content, and other original Love Ray materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a Love Ray product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property used to create that product.
You can wear the shirt.
You can hang the art.
You can give the card to somebody.
Buying it doesn't mean you bought the right to manufacture another 500 of them.
Unless we specifically give permission, Love Ray intellectual property may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, commercially distributed, used to manufacture other products, or presented as somebody else's work.
14. Community, Artists and User Submissions
Love Ray may introduce community projects, artist collaborations, galleries, contests, customer submissions, or other participatory features in the future.
Submitting something to Love Ray does not automatically transfer ownership of your original work to Love Ray.
Specific programs may have additional rules explaining how submitted material can be displayed, shared, promoted, reproduced, or otherwise used.
If we introduce a feature that requires additional submission rights or permissions, we will provide the applicable terms before that feature goes live.
Please do not submit material that you do not have the right to submit.
15. Giving and Charitable Language
Giving, kindness, and direct support for people and communities are important parts of what Love Ray is trying to build.
When a particular product, project, campaign, or program includes a specific giving commitment, we will try to explain that commitment as clearly as reasonably possible.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, purchasing a Love Ray product should not be interpreted as creating a charitable donation, tax-deductible contribution, or guaranteed donation of a particular amount.
Giving programs, recipients, percentages, amounts, and methods may vary depending on the specific project.
We'd rather tell you what we're actually doing than make a bigger promise than we can keep.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
Love Ray relies on third-party companies and services to help operate the website and business.
These may include services such as Wix, payment providers, Printful, shipping carriers, and other technology or business-service providers.
Those companies may operate under their own terms, policies, systems, and practices.
Our website may also contain links to websites or services that Love Ray does not own or control.
Love Ray is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, privacy practices, or operations of third-party websites or services.
17. Accounts and Memberships
Love Ray may offer customer accounts, memberships, subscriptions, or similar features in the future.
If we introduce a paid recurring membership, subscription, or other program requiring additional terms, important details such as pricing, billing frequency, cancellation rules, benefits, and other applicable conditions will be provided before enrollment.
Creating an account or participating in a future program may also require additional rules appropriate to that feature.
18. Availability and Website Changes
We may add, remove, update, pause, redesign, or discontinue products, content, features, programs, or portions of the Love Ray website.
We may also temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical problems, updates, or circumstances outside our control.
We do not promise that every product, feature, page, or service will remain available forever.
19. Disclaimers
The Love Ray website, its content, and its available features are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
We try to keep things accurate, useful, and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or available at every moment.
Love Ray may provide educational, creative, informational, or general safety-related content.
That content is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice when such advice is appropriate.
Certain future products, programs, educational materials, or projects may include additional disclaimers appropriate to their subject matter.
Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Love Ray Company LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the website or products when such liability may legally be limited.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section is intended to deprive a customer of mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply based on the customer's location.
23. Changes to These Terms
Love Ray may update these Terms as our website, products, services, business practices, or legal obligations change.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of these Terms.
The current version posted on our website will govern use of the website and applicable interactions from that point forward, subject to any rights or obligations that arose under an earlier version.
24. Severability
If one provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that does not necessarily make the remainder of the Terms invalid.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
